Alpha Test Prep + Tutoring is committed to helping ensure the academic success of all our students.

We are the South Pasadena area's newest and best alternative to the large tutoring and test prep companies, who typically hire part-time students to read aloud from a book to an overcrowded class. Our company is owned and operated by its founders, Jill Kohn and Patrick Dooley. After several years of working for larger tutoring companies, Jill and Patrick saw an opportunity to create a tutoring and standardized test prep company that offered it's students and their parents a new level of dedicated service with guaranteed results.

Based on a concept that learning should be fun, we combined time-proven teaching and test prep strategies with our own innovative and motivational techinques to create Alpha Test Prep + Tutoring. Our teaching methods are engaging and fun; most importantly, they get the results your student needs to build confidence and perform better in school.
