Using CSS Wisely:

I truly believe that In My Darkest Hour is a perfect example of using CSS wisely. If you view the 2k6 alpha stylesheet, you will see how I coded the page to stay centered by simply setting the width to 760px and the margins to auto, creating a semi-fluid layout. I also used CSS to position the IFRAME perfectly inside the space I had allotted. I also think I did a nice job with the links. One of my favorite things that I did was done using regular html. I made all the links open in the frame by default by targeting the frame in a BASE tag.

About the Images:

Though I personally did not add images to this template, you can do this very easily with the unused CSS that I have written. Simply insert an image as you normally would, making sure it fits where you want it. You can add a cool effect to the image now by changing the image class parameter to "switch". Now everytime you hover the image it will switch from floating the standard left to floating right. Amazing? Not really, yet is still a very cool and efficiently small effect.

One Last Thing:

It would be very easy to use an image as your header by setting it as the background for the id "#header". If you need tutorials for editing this or any other things on my site, I should have my website up and running before Christmas and it will feature dozens of tutorials written by myself, as well as links to other great ones by other people. I will update this design with a link to my website when it becomes available. If you need help before the holidays, please notify me by email and I will try to help you out when I have time. Just please have at least some knowledge of XHTML and CSS beforehand.
